Medical sheepskin is designed for healthcare use to help prevent pressure sores and improve comfort for anyone spending long periods in beds or wheelchairs. It has a dense 25 to 30 mm wool pile that spreads pressure evenly, reduces friction and maintains airflow.

The hide is treated through specialised tanning so it can be washed at high temperatures without shrinking. It is hypoallergenic, resistant to bacteria and body fluids, and helps regulate moisture and temperature. With proper care, it remains durable, hygienic and supportive.
