Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most about Oskava genuine sheepskin slippers and boots.

Are Oskava slippers made from real sheepskin?

Yes. Every pair is made from 100% genuine South African Merino sheepskin — real natural wool and skin, not synthetic fleece.

How do I choose the right size?

Order your usual shoe size; sheepskin moulds to your foot with wear. If you're between sizes or like extra room, size up. See our sizing guide for a full size reference.

Are they warm but breathable?

Yes. Natural sheepskin insulates to keep feet warm while wicking moisture and letting air circulate, so feet stay warm without overheating.

Can I wear them outdoors?

Our slippers, booties and boots have a durable rubber sole, so they're comfortable indoors and fine for quick trips outside.

How do I clean and care for them?

Air them regularly, keep them dry, and spot-clean with a damp cloth and a little wool-safe detergent — then reshape and air-dry away from direct heat. Avoid machine washing. See our care guide for details.

Will every pair look exactly the same?

Because each pair is crafted from natural sheepskin, slight differences in shade, marking and texture are normal — every pair is genuinely one of a kind.
